興大昆蟲系實驗室團隊梁維仁（左起）、關貫之、邱俊禕、歐玠皜挖掘土白蟻菌圃，蒐集10萬隻土白蟻觀察牠們喜歡吃真菌孢子球，能應用在白蟻防制，作為誘引的新型餌劑。圖／興大提供分享 facebook 中興大學昆蟲系、植病系攜手合作，破解白蟻、真菌共生的關鍵機制，研究團隊蒐集10萬隻白蟻實驗，發活動商品省錢現真菌能把白蟻無法自行合成的養分濃縮在孢子中，白蟻也喜歡取食真菌孢子獲得營養，此機制能開發當作新型餌劑，成果登上6月刊登頂尖國際期刊「真菌生態學」。這項研究由興大昆蟲學系博士生邱俊禕、植物病理學系博士生歐玠皜合作，歷時4年以「台灣土白蟻」為研究對象，牠們是台灣唯一會與真菌共生的白蟻物種，會初步分解收集到的木材，再建立種植真菌的基質，一購物暢銷排行般稱「菌圃」，因具有這樣的農業行為，這類白蟻又稱「養菌白蟻」。邱俊禕指出，土白蟻種植的真菌是「雞肉絲菇」，雞肉絲菇生長在菌圃上主要是以「菌絲」形態存在，會長出一粒粒球狀的白色孢子球，每個孢子球內含無數的真菌孢子，實驗室觀察發現，土白蟻較喜歡吃這些孢子球。邱俊禕、歐玠皜說，過往研究知道白蟻偏好取食孢子球，但並無良好的解釋，他們研究發現，原來是孢搶先看好物分享子球內有幾種白蟻所需要的必需胺基酸，且具有高營養成分。昆蟲系副教授李後鋒表示，這次研究主要是檢驗菌圃、孢子球、白蟻的化學組成，要能分析白蟻化學組成的最小需求重量是300克、分析孢子球化學組成須3克，因此需收集超過10萬隻白蟻、12萬顆的孢子球，每顆孢子球大小不足1公釐。實驗室動用數十位成員投入從菌圃上收集孢子球，不眠不休採集。團隊成員關貫之表示，要湊足300克的白蟻大家花了3個月，每天拿著手持吸塵器跟分離設備在樹上「吸」白蟻。邱俊禕指出，在熱帶及亞熱帶地區，養菌白蟻是嚴重的經濟害蟲，目前在防治領域缺乏有效誘引的餌劑，這次發現「雞肉絲菇」的白色孢子球有幾種白蟻所需的營養關鍵成分，預期能投入新型餌劑開發，讓防治再往前一大步。台灣土白蟻的菌圃，中間是台灣土白蟻的工蟻，白色球狀物是雞肉絲菇的孢子球，興大團隊蒐集10萬隻土白蟻觀察，牠們喜歡吃孢子球，能應用在白蟻防制，作為誘引的新型餌劑購買介紹。圖／興大提供分享 facebook 興大昆蟲系實驗室團隊吸取土白蟻，花3個月蒐集10萬隻，發現牠們喜歡吃真菌孢子球，能應用在白蟻防制，作為誘引的新型餌劑。圖／興大提供分享 facebook 興大昆蟲系實驗室團隊吸取土白蟻，花3個月蒐集10萬隻，發現牠們喜歡吃真菌孢子球，能應用在白蟻防制，作為誘引的新型餌劑。圖／興大提供分享 facebook
