「地球上最常見垃圾」幼鳥叼菸蒂 吃下穩死！
美國一名女攝影師凱倫梅森(Karen Mason)日前PO出1張照片，照片中可看到鳥媽媽嘴裡叼著菸蒂餵食幼鳥，她師無奈表示，若是鳥寶寶真的吃下去就必死無疑了。據海洋保護協會統計顯示，每年被隨手丟棄的菸蒂，已超過4.5兆個，顯見菸蒂已是地球上最常見的亂丟垃圾，籲癮君子不要再貪圖方便隨手丟菸蒂，造成生物的危害。
照片是美國女攝影師凱倫在佛羅里達州的海邊所捕捉到的，有隻剪嘴鷗媽媽竟叼著1根菸蒂，把菸蒂當作食物，餵到鳥寶寶的嘴裡，鳥寶寶雖然沒有馬上吃下去，但仍叼著菸蒂不放，蹦蹦跳跳玩樂。而凱倫將餵食這幕PO上臉書表示，雖然不清楚鳥寶寶最終有沒有把菸蒂當作食物吞下去，但如果牠真的把菸蒂吃了下去，絕對是必死無疑。
但其實更讓她感到遺憾的是，這已經不是她第1次看到動物把人類亂丟的大量塑料、無法分解垃圾吞下肚，凱倫認為人類製造的各種垃圾享好禮已對生物們的生存造成嚴重危害。
根據海洋保護協會(Ocean Conservancy)統計顯示，在國際淨灘日撿起的垃圾裡，每5樣就有1個菸蒂，截至去年6月5日世界環境日為止，每年被隨手丟棄的菸蒂，已超過4.5兆個，顯然的菸蒂已是地球上最常見的垃圾！而這些廢棄菸蒂會流向河流、海洋、水域，最終被鳥類及海洋動物誤當食物吞下肚。
