只需六天就能找出病因！ 台大基因檢測新科技出爐
嬰幼兒死亡原因，有三成是因為先天性遺傳疾病。要怎麼提早發現，就變得很重要。台大發現新式的基因定序方法，就能把傳統需要長達三個月才能判讀出結果的檢測，縮短成只要六天，目前已經針對60名病患進行檢測，半數以上因此找到關鍵的致病基因。

台大基因醫學部醫師李妮鍾：「從看到檢體到判讀完，我們現在是希望，在一天內做完，前後加起來我們是壓縮，整個從抽血到判讀時間，希望能在六天左右知道結果。」
台大研發團隊表示，新的基因定序技術，未來還能用在各個領域，例如：藥物代謝、過敏反應的預測等等，希望能提供病患，更精準的治療，現階段也有助於小小娃早期發現對症下藥。
